unique character
Laundry Day
Heading home after finishing laundry
I really enjoy doing things such as laundry, with Forest. He takes most things we do, very seriously. Whether it be laundry, shopping, talking with people, running errands, etc.
He gets into it. I feel like he's a pretty unique character. Sometimes i wonder if other kids are doing the things that he does. I like to think not...
side note: our apartment looks gross in this picture. The grass is currently sparse right outside our building. But know that the ENTIRE property is landscaped like a park and there is grass everywhere.

Happy New Year!
New Years Eve is slightly different when celebrating with toddlers.
Ive always been the type who would prefer to have a great dinner at home with my husband.
Snuggled on the couch watching a holiday movie, for the last time, until the next holiday season.
Perhaps share some wine and treats together too.
But now, we have..... "The Child".
Last night we shared a fun dinner with some friends of ours. We had a great time visiting, while the boys brought in the new year by wrestling! Forest loves his buddies.
By about 9:00, the boys decided the party was over, and everyone went home and all kids went to bed.
Robert and i got to enjoy the later part of New Years Eve together, just the two of us.
But unfortunately for me, by then, i was about to fall asleep too! I guess things are different now.
Perhaps I will be "normal" again by the time Forest (and all future kids) are grown and out of the house. Haha. Until then...im ok with going to bed early, because i know what i have to deal with the day after!
