Sorry im so behind with the blogging.
Christmas time is the busiest time of year for us within our work at City Impact, as well as in our personal lives. But now January is here and I can take some time to re-cap.
Brief Re-cap
1. We did not have a camera at all during Christmas time. None of our work events, or personal celebrations were able to be documented. Huge bummer.
2. We had two Christmas outreaches in Dec. One was two weeks before Christmas, and the other was on Christmas morning. Both were incredible. But Christmas morning was especially fun because my sister Sarah, along with her husband Ben were able to come out early in the morning to participate with us!
3. We had a wonderful and relaxing time with both of our families. We spent part of our time off with my family for Christmas. Followed by a delightful time in the mountains to celebrate a second Christmas with the in-laws.
A few things you might be wondering about:
1. The "bird nest of love" (our loft bed) has now been lowered for the past couple of months.
I should probably come up with a new name for it, but i cant seem to break away from "the nest"
2. The "Little Old Woman" in the window across the street had been deemed dead a few months ago. (according to me and Robert). However, just tonight as i was thinking about her, i peered out my window and much to my freak-out-ness, THERE SHE WAS! And with a fresh new hair cut! What the heck?!
3. My stomach continues to grow each day and i continue to grow more and more excited about meeting this tiny passenger!
Now that i have found our camera, ill be taking pics and posting them. Especially because i need to create a post dedicated to two items that im obsessed with. I will also see if anyone else has some holiday pics that i could share with all of you!
